Stampin' Up! Sneak Peak...

I recently held a watercoloring technique class and boy did we have a good time.  I have shared with you before how I learned a new watercoloring technique using the Stampin' Up! Stampin' Write markers and the Aquapainters.  It makes watercoloring SO much fun and easy for ANYONE to do.  If you would like more information on this great technique, please send me an email for more information.

An Update from Tami and Retired List from SU!

Hi all!  I know it has been a long time and I just wanted to fill you all in on what's happening.  I am now on my 18th week of pregnancy and FINALLY starting to feel a little more human again.  For those of you who don't know, I suffer from HG with my pregnancies and have a pretty rough go of it at the beginning.  I am hopeful that I have turned the corner and can get back to doing some fun things soon ~ including more frequent posting and some greatly anticipated classes!

As far as what is going on with Stampin' Up! I am pleased to announce several things:

• The RETIRED LIST of stamps from the current Spring~Summer catalog has been released and can be viewed on my Stampin' Up! website under promotions or by clicking HERE.
• The NEW FALL~WINTER Catalog can now be pre-ordered from me for $5.00 each - regularly $9.95 (FREE with a booked workshop -or- a product order of $50.00 or more) and it will be officially released on August 11th, 2008.  Orders from the new catalog may also be placed on August 11th.  Please contact me through my CONTACT FORM to PRE-ORDER your catalog today.  You will receive a confirmation from me of your pre-order along with payment instructions via return email.  Catalogs can be picked up at my home -or- shipped direct to you for an additional $3.00.

A little news to share...

Hi all!  It makes me nervous to share this kind of news, but with my history, I didn't want to just have to stop posting and leave you all in wonder - so I just wanted to announce that I am now expecting addition number 3 to our family! :)  Currently, we are prayerful that the little bean is in the right place and will grow strong and healthy for the next 9 months!

Unfortunately, I have suffered through both of my pregnancies thus far with a condition known as HG or the long technical term of Hyperemesis Gravidarum.  This debilitating illness is way beyond what many have experienced as mothers in the form of morning sickness and if it strikes me down again, I will likely not be able to post or make cards or really do much of anything aside from sleeping and retching.  If you want to know more about HG, I encourage you to visit a very informative site here:  www.helpher.org.  If you know anyone that is suffering and can't get the help that she needs, I strongly encourage you visit this site and to read the book:  Beyond Morning Sickness:  Battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum by Ashli Foshee McCall, but I will warn you that the book is a very emotional read.  Luckily, I have a doctor that understands that this is a disease and not something in my head -or- just me being a wimp that can't handle morning sickness and he will attempt to get me the appropriate care and attention that I will need to get through the HG portion of my pregnancy and on to the goal of a healthy baby.  A sympathetic care provider is one of the keys in battling and getting through the worst periods of HG.  I have read so many horror stories about woman who were not cared for and ended up terminating pregnancies that they wanted more than anything as the suffering can be just that bad.  So while I am exuberant about my pregnancy, I am also a little anxious to see what this disease has in store for me this time -or- even if it will strike this time, there are just no certainties when it comes to HG. 

In the meantime, I will try to keep creating and posting as much as possible and bringing my love of Stampin' Up! products to you and also if I do "disappear" for awhile, I would ask that you remain a subscriber if you are one and keep me in your prayers as I will be going through a rough battle.  Thanks for reading and "cyber-hugs" to you all!!  :)

Oh Baby!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to come up with something new, but I am afraid it will be this way a little bit until the new year gets here and life hopefully slows down a bit.  Don't give up on me though as plenty of new stuff WILL be on it's way!

NEW CATALOG:  I am getting so excited for the NEW Stampin' Up! Spring-Summer Collection catalog to get here.  I have had the privilege of some secret sneak peaks and let me tell you, it's looking good ladies.  There appears to be a little more variety in the styles than this past catalog and there also appears to be more stamp designs to be colored, which excites me!  If you would like to reserve one of the new catty's when it arrives (should be here before the 1st of the year) please click HERE and send me a note.  I have 16 of them coming and they will go to first come, first served.

OK --- on to today's project!  I had to use what we SU! demos refer to as "Contraband Rubber" today since Stampin' Up! no longer has a preggo girl, to explain the use of the Bella stamp.  This is just a little journal for someone expecting - I figure that she can jot down notes about the pregnancy, insert belly pics, ultrasound pictures, etc.  To get you more excited about the new catty - how about the awesome NEW Designer Paper I used which is called Bali Breeze!
