It's All About Family!

During this time of year, I think one of the things that I treasure the most is the opportunity to get together and spend some special time with my family, both immediate and extended.  In the spirit of celebrating family, Stampin' Up! has come out with a new set in the Fall-Winter Collection catalog called All in the Family!  I just love this set, it is so much fun to work and create with, not to mention it gives me the opportunity to get out my watercolor supplies. 

These family name mats make great gift ideas for any occasion.  I hope you enjoy my samples of some of the family name mats I have made and are inspired to create something to celebrate YOUR family.

 

Want a family mat made by me?  It's easy, just send me an email to let me know that you want to place an order.  I will follow up with an order form and payment instructions.  You will be able to choose your colors, alphabet style, people, accessories and embellishments if any to the matting.  Once I receive your instructions, I will create a general layout proof and send it to you via email.  Once you approve your design, I will go on to finish the picture and send you another proof and finally a finished product will be ready to send to you.  The introductory cost for an 8x10 picture and mat ready for framing is:  $18.00 (including shipping - United States Only).

CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT!

Get into the holiday spirit with the Winter Bright Simply Scrappin' kit by Stampin' Up!

When:  Sunday, December 2nd, 2007;   Time:  3:00 - 5:30pm  (estimated project time is 2 hours);   Where:  Tami's House - Painesville Twp., OH (please call if you need directions);   RSVP by:  Friday Nov. 16th, 2007 to reserve your spot --- I need to order in supplies and MUST have an RSVP by this date - Thanks!  (with the holidays, orders are taking longer for processing/shipping);   Cost:  $16.00/kit  Payment will be due at the time of the workshop -or- for your convenience, pay now via credit card:

Event Information:

This event will be a Card It! -or- Scrap It! event meaning that you can create either (8) cards -or- a 4 page (6x6) scrapbook layout.  With your kit fee for either option, you will be receiving the following:

- 1 sheet each (for a total of 3 sheets) of the self-adhesive die cuts from the Winter Bright Simply Scrappin' kit.;   - 1 1/2 sheets each of the double sided papers from Winter Bright;   - 1 sheet each of the 12x12 textured cardstock in Pretty in Pink, Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue & Real Red from the Winter Bright Kit.;   - 1 sheet each of regular 12x12 cardstock in Bashful Blue and Real Red.;   - A copy of the idea sheet that comes with the kit.;   - You will also receive accessories such as coordinating brads, eyelets and other hardware from the Hodgepodge Hardware kit and various ribbons and other embellishments to complete your project.

(If you choose the Scrap It! option, please note that I have made it so that you should have enough stock of supplies to complete the rest of a full 20 page 6x6 book on your own at home after you complete the four pages at the workshop.  Card It! will also you allow you to make plenty more on your own as well.)

What you need to bring:

You will need to bring your own permanent adhesive tape runner or other acid free adhesive for assembly of the project (contact me if you have questions). Refills for the SU Snail Adhesive (Tombow #62202) Tape runner are always available at a discounted price of $3.50/each.

If you have a personal trimmer, please bring this to the workshop as well for cutting and trimming layout supplies if you are doing the Scrap It! option.

PLEASE RSVP NO LATER THAN FRIDAY NOV. 16TH SO THAT I MAY ORDER THE APPROPRIATE NUMBER OF SUPPLIES!  ONCE YOU RSVP, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT EVEN IF YOU ARE THEN UNABLE TO ATTEND THE WORKSHOP (PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP TO MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS - RECEIVE VIRTUAL INSTRUCTIONS).  There will be a on-site class limit of 8, so please respond promptly to guarantee your spot.
