I am so sorry it has taken me some time to get back on here - life has been in the way a little bit with family in for the Thanksgiving holiday and just lots of running around to do! I DID get to enjoy another one of those delightful Starbuck's Peppermint Mocha's today and it was fabulous!!!!
Speaking of which, I have a rather funny story to share - I lost what was left of my mocha today while chasing a receipt across a parking lot. A neighbor friend of mine and I decided to make a treck to Mayfield Heights, Ohio today to the Costco Wholesale store there. Another friend of mine told me about a little scrapbooking bundle of goodies that they had there for only $24.99! WOW - great deal, so we had to go! We loaded up our three little ones into the family vanster and headed out. When we left the sun was shining, the wind was cool, but not too bad and it was generally nice outside for a winter day at the end of November. Well, by the time we drove a half an hour away, things changed and by the time we were done shopping (it took awhile since we got a little carried away with all the great deals - lol) the weather outside had really gone down hill, especially as far as the wind was concerned. We exited the store and got the kids loaded in the van and then started unloading all the goods. In the process of unloading, our two receipts blew out of my hand and went flying - OH NO!!!! Mocha in one hand, I threw everything else in the van and started running (knowing of course that the kids were all safe with my neighbor), chasing this little piece of white paper as it danced it's way gracefully across the parking lot just teasing me as it was just outside of my grasp each time another gust came. Finally I decided that it was the last delightful tastes of my Mocha or I was never going to catch that receipt. So I dropped the Mocha next to a cart parking area and kept on running, chilled air filling my lungs and stinging my face - I ran! Finally, that darned receipt got caught up on the fence seperating the highway from the store parking lot and I was victorious, but at the expense of my poor Mocha! :(
Here is a picture of the fun scrapping kit that took us out into today's dreary and chilling weather :)
